Dive Sites

As we already know, we are in the natural paradise of the Costa Tropical, and I would add the seabed, since we are at a key point, where the Mediterranean and Atlantic waters exchange.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that the bay of La Herradura is perfect for beginners in diving, since it has white sand on the bottom and a depth of 2/3 meters.

Because the bay is shaped like a horseshoe, or Herradura in Spanish as its  name suggests, it protects us and allows us to always dive.

Thanks to Punta de la Mona on one side, and Cerro Gordo on the other, we are always protected from storms. So we are a privileged area for diving throughout the year.

Due to the currents that come from the west, from the Atlantic, which are loaded with phytoplankton, and which provide food for the various species found on our coast, outcrop takes place... giving way to a creation of corals already extinct already extinct in several places around the world, and we will take you to see them.

Thanks to the fact that Maro Cerro Gordo was declared protected natural area, in all these years there has been an explosion of diverse life, in which, when we dive, we feel like the smallest.

We have areas like our famous Calaiza, which is the nursery! where all kinds of life take refuge, and allows us to see an endless number of species grow, which later spread throughout the bay and all the diving spots in La Herradura.
